This series contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, and magazine articles related to the historic preservation activities of the Hubbard family and their relatives. Preservation projects include the Custom House and Widehall in Chestertown, Maryland, the Lindens in Washington D.C., and the Ross House in Mexico, Missouri. There are also materials relating to the preservation of other Chestertown houses and historic preservation at large. Miriam Morris hosted many dignitaries at the Lindens and the correspondence includes many notable dignitaries and Presidents.
