Biographical Information

Paula Margerethe Schuler (1879-1957) was born to Charles Schneider (1842-1911) and Agnes Otten Schneider (1844-1920), restauranters, in Baltimore, Maryland. She married the sculptor, Hans Schuler, in 1905. She graduated from Western High School in 1898 and continued her education in languages and literature privately. She was especially fond of Poetry. She continued to support her High School and was a member of numerous clubs and art associations, including the Lizette Woodworth Reese Memorial Association. She died in 1975, leaving two children and several grandchildren.
