Scope and Content Note

This collection contains materials related to the history and operation of the College throughout its history. A majority of the materials are ephemera and collateral, invitations and programs, fliers, and emails. This is an artificial collection created when Frederick W. Dumschott wrote his book Washington College. Since then, each year materials are added to the collection. This collection is organized by academic year.

Washington College retains copyright of materials created by the College. Copyright of other materials has not been assigned to Washington College All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Archives and Special Collections. Permission for publication is given on behalf of Washington College as the owner of the physical items and is not intended to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained by the researcher.
