This collection contains two deeds and a survey for plots of land in Millington purchased by the Board of Education of Kent County. In 1915 initiatives were made to build larger modern schools in Millington, Betterton, Kennedyville, and Rock Hall.

This collection contains materials related to the Board of Visitors & Governors at Washington College from its earliest inception. It includes correspondence, financial records, legal documents, and deeds related to college property. Due to a fire that destroyed the original college building in 1827 many of the earliest records of the college were lost.
