James A. Pearce, Jr.’s lecture notebooks while at Princeton University, correspondence, and a scrapbook he kept of the 1896 presidential election.

This collection contains a scrapbook of clippings regarding the inauguration of Gilbert W. Mead as President of Washington College on October 21, 1933. The inauguration was attended by Governor Ritchie and President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who received an honorary degree at the event.
