Organizational History

Cleopatra’s Sisters is “an organization of diverse women at Washington College dedicated to community service and advocacy for women’s issues.” It was formed in 1992 as Cleopatra’s Daughters to create a safe space and sense of community for women of color on campus. Around 2008 they changed their name to Cleopatra’s Sisters. The organization is active in Washington College student life as of 2024.
