Washington College early records of the Board of Visitors & Governors
This collection contains materials related to the Board of Visitors & Governors at Washington College from its earliest inception. It includes correspondence, financial records, legal documents, and deeds related to college property. Due to a fire that destroyed the original college building in 1827 many of the earliest records of the college were lost.
