Organizational History

The Student Activities Committee was formed in the early 1930s. It was comprised of students and faculty and had the final say on any dances held on campus, including those organized by the Fraternities and Sororities. They worked with the Cotillion Club and later with the Blue Key Society. This committee was absorbed into the Student Government Association in the late 1960s.
