Organizational History
The Dale Adams Heritage Exchange was created in 1991 and officially formed in 1992. The organization was a multi-cultural organization with the purpose to unite the Washington College community and offer a better understanding of different heritages. They sponsored lectures, movies, and various social and cultural activities. In 1998, the group evolved into the Black Student Association and into the Black Student Union at the college today.
