Loose papers from ledger
This collection contains an account ledger for Dr. Thomas C. Kennard’s medical practice. It lists accounts for various individuals in Kent County including some free African Americans. Personal letter and documents were interspersed in the ledger and have been removed to a folder. These include accounts, receipts, letters including one from his son, Peregrine Wroth, Ezekiel Chambers, and Harmony School. There are also legal documents including a lease to Swan Creek Farm.

"Old Washington" music, 1924-1976
This collection contains various iterations of the Washington College Song. There are some early lyrics from the early 1900s. the first published college song was in the 1909 Pegasus as “Washington Forever.” The version of “Old Washington” we sing today began in the 1920s it was written by Rev. C.L. Atwater and harmonized by W. Russell McMenamin. There have been several “Field Songs” for sporting events. This collection has various published lyrics and sheet music for the songs.
