This collection contains large and medium-format black-and-white negatives of various events. Those taken for the college include commencements and awards, John F. Kennedy’s campaign visit, and photographs of Charles Downs. Other images of events and people in Chestertown and the surrounding area were taken, most likely for the Kent News.

The Commodore Collection contains papers related to the lives of African Americans in Kent and Queen Anne’s County on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The materials relate to both free and enslaved African Americans through estate documents, hire agreements, financial documents, legal documents, and runaway slave broadsides. The collection has been organized by genre and then chronologically.

This collection contains photocopies of daybooks and ledgers for the Willis Wells Funeral Home in Chestertown, Maryland. Although they are primarily financial accounts, they still contain information on the decedent.
