Scope and Contents Note This collection contains a letter book from 1884-1897, maintained by James A. Pearce, for the Diocese of Easton. It is comprised of drafts of letters written by Pearce during his service as Chancellor of the Protestant Episcopal Diocese of Easton. The majority of the letters are addressed to other Episcopalian clergies, including Bishop Henry C. Lay, Bishop William Forbes Adams, and the Reverend R.R. Walker, among others. Scope and Content Note This collection contains letter books, lectures, and essays kept by Peregrine Wroth. Many of the letter books have the name of his wife, Margaret Nicols, on the inside cover. There are several books of his lectures while teaching chemistry at Washington College as well as a scholarly publication of Wroth’s on Bilious Fever.
