This collection contains radio scripts and speeches by Long mostly on patriotic topics. Many of the speeches were to organizations like Sons of the Revolution. There is also research material on George Washington and publications from the George Washington Bicentennial Commission.

This collection contains records related to the Mount Vernon Literary Society at Washington College including accounts, minutes, constitutions and bylaws, as well as some publications and programs of events.

This collection contains William Firth Wells writings including some of his wife and collaborator, lectures, and photographs related to his research on sanitation, public health, and oystering. There are also papers related to his military service.
