Adam Goodheart book research on Col. Clarence Hodson
This collection contains research for Goodheart’s book The Hodson Century A Legacy of Leadership at Washington College. Much of the research was done in the Presidents of Washington College’s papers and the Board of Visitors & Governors’ papers.
Albert W. Dowling papers
This collection contains several letters from Albert Dowling to John M. Lord, a friend and Washington College graduate, class of 1935. He has also sent a forward “Voices: The Past Pleads” and numerous poems. Some of the poems note the publications they are in or the date and a few have handwritten notes.

This collection contains George W. Powell’s junior surveying class notebook taught by Professor J. S. William Jones. As well as correspondence with Dean of Men, Charles B. Clark regarding his time at Washington College and a reminiscence of faculty, the campus, and classes.

Some request letters of recommendation for various positions with Washington College, one regards an honorary degree from Dickinson College for Thomas S. Hodson. Includes commencement materials for Yale and Washington College. There are also legal papers related to Barroll’s work as a lawyer.
